That's why Ashley's private yoga classes are committed to embracing and teaching yoga as a way of life as opposed to simply an opportunity to move the body.
Astrology is a tool that supports and encourages us in accessing higher planes of our own spiritual evolution and consciousness. You may think of a natal astrology reading as a blueprint for your psyche; you don't have to follow in the direction it points, but it doesn't hurt to have a map.
As a form of psychology, astrology proves to be a wonderful compliment to yoga as Ashley can work to tailor the class not only to meet the client's unique physical needs, but also his or her subconscious needs and desires.

This month the moon waxes to a peak in the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius, awakening the parts within us that crave adventure, higher thinking, and spiritual growth. Through meditation, journaling and sacred group discussion, you are guided to release old patterns and strengthen your relationship to your authentic self. Please bring a journal and pen. Three Hour Restorative Yoga Class
with Ashley Matthews and Chris Morton

Let yourself be healed and nurtured from within during this three-hour program consisting of gentle, supported postures accompanied by breath awareness. Restorative poses are poses of "being" rather than "doing." By supporting the body with props, the body and brain become quiet and relaxed. In this relaxed state, physiological changes occur which help to restore health and reduce the effects of chronic stress. Prior yoga experience is helpful but not required.

"This was truly was a mini retreat. When we started I was having palpitations for some reason and I was very conscious of my heart beating fast and hard, but by the time we finished, I felt calm and relaxed and energized all at the same time - that feeling actually lasted a couple of days, even through stress and lots of busy-ness at work. And I realized as I was getting ready for bed Sunday night that for the first time in a very, very, very long time, I had absolutely no pain or discomfort anywhere in my body - it was quite extraordinary!
