Are your classes suitable for beginners?

Yoga is everyone's birthright. That's why Ashley strives to create a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing environment to support and guide each and every individual in class. Whether you're brand new to yoga, returning after a break, or have been practicing for years, her classes offer the chance to explore and develop your practice at your own pace. If you are a beginner, please feel free to arrive up to 15 minutes early to get situated and introduce yourself!

Do I need to register for classes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all students are required to register for classes at Ride the Wave Yoga. This allows Ashley to maintain a comfortable class size and guarantees you your spot in that class. Registration also allows for communication of any last-minute changes or updates to the class, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for all. You can easily register for classes by navigating to "Classes > Book" or by contacting Ashley directly.  From there you will have the option register by either paying online or in person for a drop-in session, or to purchase/ use a class pass.

What if Beach Yoga is cancelled due to weather?

In the case of inclement weather, Ashley will send out a cancellation email to registered participants at least one hour prior to class.  All pre-registrations will be either held as a credit or refunded in full.

Question 4

What do I need to bring to class?

Accepted Answer

You may like to bring a couple of essential items to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, and a water bottle. Additionally, wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for ease of movement, and dress in layers. If you have your own yoga props such as blocks or straps, feel free to bring those along as well. Ashley provides extra yoga mats as well as plenty of yoga props such as bolsters, blocks, blankets, straps and chairs.  To preserve a peaceful and inviting space, please silence your cell phone and enter the studio with an open mind and heart.

What is your class cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within two hours of a yoga class or within 24 hours of a special event, such as a Full Moon Circle or New Moon Yoga Nidra, will be responsible for payment in full.

What is your age requirement to attend class?

Accepted Answer

Children between ages 14 and 18 are allowed to attend Hatha yoga and Beach Yoga classes as long as there is a parent or guardian present.  You must be 18 or older to attend a Let Your Yoga Dance® class, Full Moon Circle or New Moon Yoga Nidra event.  Pre-registration is required for all classes.

Where can I purchase a gift card?

You may purchase a gift certificate for yoga classes, events and astrology readings either in person or online through the website. Choose your desired amount and provide the recipient's information. If you prefer to purchase in person, simply email Ashley with your request and she will create a personalized gift certificate to hand-deliver or email to you. Whether it's for a special occasion, a birthday, or simply to show someone you care, a gift certificate for services with Ashley is the perfect way to share the gift of wellness and spirituality with your loved ones.
